Indian Railways RRB Recruitment 2018 Ends Tonight: 2.5 Crore Registrations so far

Indian Railways RRB Recruitment 2018 for Group C Level I and Group C Level II (erstwhile Group D) posts is ending tonight at 11:59PM. As per reports more than 2.5 crore applications have been received so far to compete for 89409 vacancies which include 17,673 vacancies for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and 8,829 vacancies of Technician in Group C I against advertisement number CEN 01/2018 and 62907 vacancies for the post of Cabinman, Trackman, Leverman, Pointsman, Helper-II, Gr. D (Store), Keyman, Shunter, Welder, Fitter, Porter, Helper-II (Mech), Helper-II (ST), Gr. D (Engg.), Gangman, Switchman, etc against advertisement number CEN 02/2018 in Group C II (earlier Group D).

The last date for online payment of application fee was yesterday i.e. 30th March 2018, however due to some technical issues that applicants faced while depositing the same, the application fee can now be submitted till 10PM tonight while the applications can be submitted till 11:59PM.

‘Few candidates have reported that due to slow speed of application page of CEN 01/2018 - (Assistant Loco Pilot - ALP & Technician), they could not register or make the payment on 30.03.2018. These reports are being looked into. In the meanwhile, the online payment gateway for CEN 01/2018 shall remain open on 31.03.2018 also till 22.00 hrs’ read an online notification.

Earlier in February, last month, the Railways Ministry had relaxed the minimum qualification for CEN 02/2018 vacancies, making the minimum eligibility to Class 10th only. The Indian Railways Recruitment for Level 1 and Level 2 is happening after a gap of 4 years, however, the rules that had been proposed during these years had been incorporated in the Recruitment drive 2018; due to which thousands of candidates had been caught unaware and have raised concerns.

Selection Process:

The selection process includes Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Detailed Verification (DV). CBSE 10th Result 2018 Today: Live Updates

Central Board of Secondary Education orCBSEdeclared the class 10th result today. 86.70 per cent students qualified the exams and Thiruvananthapuram is the top region with 99.60 per cent qualified candidates.Students and their parents can check the class 10 result on the CBSE's official website (www.cbse.nic.in), NIC hosted result portal (www.cbseresults.nic.in), Google search page, Bing search page, SMS Organizer app and UMANG app. The result portals may slow down a bit immediately after its declaration. The Google result page will be visible atleast for an hour.

Likewise, Microsoft has introduced SMS Organizer app to help students check the results offline. With this app students can pre-register their details and the results will be delivered to them as SMS.

The Railway Recruitment Board which conducts exams to fill thousands of vacancies for Indian Railways across the country, had recently released a notification regarding the RRB Group D recruitment wherein 91,307 vacancies across several posts were made available. RRB Group D exam pattern 2018The exam pattern for Railway Group D 2018 has two stages, namely CBT (Computer Based Test) which is followed by PET (Passing Physical Efficiency Test).

RRB Computer Based Test

This is the stage one wherein questions are asked from Mathematics, Generala Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness on Current Affairs. There will be 100 questions in total and time limit will be 90 minutes.

RRB Physical Efficiency Test

Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is important for every candidate and the case differs for male and female candidates.

For MALE candidates1) Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down2) Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in 1 chance

For FEMALE candidates1) Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down2) Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in 1 chance

People suffering from any physical disability will be exempted from appearing for the PET round.

RRB Group C, D Exam 2018: Looking out for the exact date of Indian Railway

RRB going to give more around a lakh government jobs for the candidates in the Railway’s Group C and Group D post this year. After the submission of online application form, every aspirant wanted to know their exam date that when will it happen? According to the reports, the RRB going to announce the date for the first stage of Group C and D exam i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT) in next 10 or 15 days. However, there is no confirmation given by the Indian Railways.

In the history of Railway recruitment, this year the vacancies announced by the Indian Railways recruitment board, is one of the biggest recruitment drives for the aspirants.

Some reports also saying that CBT exam for Group D will be conducted in the month of August 2018.

However, the brochure of the exam had mentioned that the exam of Group D CBT will be conducted in the month of April or May. But, till now, no official date has been announced by the RRB.

As per the previous reports of Times Now, there could be a further delay in the announcement of exam dates and admit card. CG Police Constable Recruitment 2018: Here's admit card download link

Chhattisgarh Police (CG) has released the Admit Card for C.A.F (Battalion) recruitment on its official website http://www.cgpolice.gov.in/.

The download link is now active and candidates can go to the CG Police website for their admit card print out.

The CG police had been invited application for filling up the 1,786 vacancies of Constable - GD, MT Driver and Tradesman for C.A.F. (Battalion).

Admit cards for 2018 UPSC Prelims are out

 

With less than a month to go for the UPSC Prelims 2018, the Union Public Service Commission has released admit cards for candidates.

 

The same can be downloaded from the official website.

Those who qualify in the Prelims on June 3 will be eligible to appear for the Main in October.

This time, candidates will be chosen for about 780 vacancies.

 

Admit card: Here's how to download the admit card

 

 

To download the admit card, visit the UPSC's official website at www.upsc.gov.in, then click on 'e-Admit Card: Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2018.'

 

On the next page, click on 'Click here' to proceed; follow the same procedure in the next page too.

You will have to enter either your registration ID/roll number along with date of birth and security code.

Make sure you take a printout.

 

About: The UPSC examination is one of India's toughest

 

The Civil Service Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) annually.

Successful candidates are chosen for roles in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.

About half-a-million candidates appear every year for about a thousand posts. This year, the number of vacancies was initially estimated to be 980.

 

Pattern: Two written tests and an interview

 

 

Graduates or final year degree students are eligible to apply for the UPSC exams.

 

Candidates have to clear three rounds - the Prelims, which is an objective written test; the Main, a subjective written test; and an interview.

There is negative marking for wrong answers in the objective paper.

Only those who clear one test can move on to the next.

 

Fact: Details of candidates rejected in interview to be disclosed publicly

 

Total scores of candidates who appear for the interview but aren't shortlisted will be disclosed publicly. Candidates have the option of signing out of this scheme while applying, in which case the UPSC won't reveal their details.
